Martin Agyei Mensah Korsah Jnr Hands Over Bikes to the Region
In a show of commitment to strengthening the New Patriotic Party (NPP) ahead of the crucial 2024 elections, Hon. Martin Adjei-Mensah Korsah, the Techiman South Member of Parliament, made a generous donation of 50 motorbikes and an undisclosed cash amount to the Bono East Regional Executives of the party on Wednesday, October 2, 2024.
The donation took place during a brief ceremony at the NPP Regional Secretariat, where the motorbikes were handed over for distribution to the 11 constituencies within the Bono East Region. Hon. Adjei-Mensah Korsah emphasized the importance of these resources in bolstering the party’s campaign efforts as they gear up for the upcoming polls.
“This election is a pivotal moment for our nation, a contest between the past and the future,” he declared, urging party executives to work tirelessly to ensure a brighter future for Ghanaians. He stressed that the NPP has demonstrated its capability in managing the country’s affairs more effectively than its political rivals.
As the nation approaches election season, the MP encouraged the party members to serve as ambassadors of the NPP, communicating the party’s successes and initiatives to the electorate. “We must ensure that we become good ambassadors of the NPP and work toward retaining the power to foster the needed development in our various communities,” he said.
Adjei-Mensah Korsah challenged the party executives to take an active role in canvassing for votes, stressing the importance of reaching out to voters on a personal level. “Let us move from house to house and preach the good works of the NPP and let the electorate appreciate the numerous projects and policies implemented for their benefit in the face of the needless propaganda by our opponents,” he urged.
Receiving the donation, Regional Chairman Bukari Baba, accompanied by his secretary David Boakye and other parliamentary candidates and party members, expressed their gratitude to the Techiman South MP. He assured that the donated motorbikes and funds would be effectively utilized to secure victory for the party in the upcoming elections.
