Kwadwo Yeboah

A former Constituency Youth Organizer of governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwadwo Yeboah has contributed One Thousand Ghana Cedis for the re-election of John Dramani Mahama.

Kwadwo announced the cash donation of one thousand cedis during a ‘Pampaso, a socio-political talk show on Laterbiokoshie based Radio Gold, on Tuesday.

Presenting the envelop to Samuel Huntor, Host of the program, he said he is supporting the comeback of the former President and his campaign because life was better for him under John Mahama as president, to the chagrin of his party.

Mr. Yeboah said the former president has done admirably well in his first term to make Ghanaians including him proud. ‘As electrical engineer, I used to get contracts when Mahama was leading the country. But can’t say same about my own party and government because times are hard for me and my household. He added.

“I want to make it categorically clear that this gesture is stemmed out of my genuine love and commitment to the course of governance of our dear country.

“There is no gainsaying the fact that former President Mahama has in his tenure done what other presidents did not achieve within a similar period.

“We were all witnesses to the massive infrastructural development in different parts of the country, especially construction of schools, health facilities and rehabilitation of roads.

“We saw the unprecedented development the government of John Mahama brought to Ghana within the four years he got the opportunity to govern our dear nation.

“I feel that he should be supported by every well-meaning Ghanaian that has genuine love for the country.

Receiving the envelop, the host of ‘Pampaso’, Samuel Huntor thanked Kwadwo Yeboah with a handshake to the applause of his co-panelists. Huntor, tore the envelop and counted the money and confirmed that indeed the money was apt.
