In a heartfelt post on social media, she openly expressed her deep respect and appreciation for his intellect.
Dzifa Gomashie made it clear that she greatly values Haruna Iddrisu’s intelligence and focus, emphasizing that she doesn’t need validation from anyone regarding her admiration for him. In a Facebook post, she tagged Haruna Iddrisu and stated, “I love his brain and focus, and I have enormous respect for him. What you think of him is none of my business,” leaving no room for doubt about her sentiments.

The reshuffling of leadership within the Minority Caucus, which saw Haruna Iddrisu and his Whip, Mohammed Mubarak Muntaka, replaced by Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson, had caused ripples within the party. The decision was explained by the National Chairman Johnson Asiedu Nketiah as an effort to restore respect and cooperation with the Speaker of Parliament, with the perception that Haruna’s leadership was complicating matters for the NDC-elected Speaker.
The replacement, however, faced strong resistance from many members of the minority caucus, who argued that they had not been adequately consulted regarding the change in leadership. Despite the pushback, Asiedu Nketiah and the General Secretary, Fif Fiave Kwatey, stood firm on the decision.
The episode highlighted the complexities and dynamics within the NDC party and its parliamentary caucus, as they navigate the intricacies of leadership and representation in the Ghanaian political landscape.
