Kelly Sule, better known as Kellyrae, has just made history as the first contestant to win Big Brother Naija alongside a spouse, after a thrilling 71 days in the No Loose Guardhouse. The charismatic competitor beat his closest rival, Wanni from the WanniX Handi duo, in an electrifying finale that captivated viewers across nations.
Entering the house as a pair with his six-month-old wife, Kassia Sule, under the team name Double Kay, Kellyrae stormed to victory on Sunday night, clinching the grand prize of N60 million, an SUV, and other jaw-dropping rewards. He edged out Wanni, who was named runner-up, and Onyeka, who finished in third place.
Kellyrae now joins the ranks of BBN royalty alongside previous winners like All-Stars champion Ilebaye Odiniya (Gen Z Baddie) and Phyna of Level Up. His win further cements his status as a fan favourite and a true icon of Nigeria’s most-watched reality TV show.
This year’s season, which premiered on July 24, 2024, came with a unique twist: housemates had to apply in pairs. Themed No Loose Guard, the show initially featured 14 pairs of contestants. However, by the time the final curtain fell, only one duo and six individual contestants remained in the race for the top prize.
The eight finalists included fan favourites Kellyrae, Wanni, and Victoria, whom all battled their way to the coveted top three positions. Meanwhile, Ozee, Sooj, Nelly, and Anita rounded out the final lineup, each showcasing their talents and strategy in a bid for glory.
The star-studded finale wasn’t just about the competition, though. Nigerian music sensations Joeboy and Qing Madi brought the house down with show-stopping performances, adding extra flair to an already unforgettable night.
Kellyrae’s triumph marks another unforgettable chapter in BBN history, solidifying his place among the show’s legends. After 71 intense days, endless drama, and strategic gameplay, the man of the moment has claimed his throne—and a life-changing prize to match.
