Exclusive event to celebrate Ghana’s artistic heritage and promote cultural diplomacy
In a bold celebration of Ghanaian craftsmanship and cultural expression, Mentrax Oro Jewellery is set to unveil the Ghana Gold Pendant on 26 April 2025 at the Accra International Conference Centre, as part of a landmark cultural event themed “Experience Ghana: Gateway to Africa.”

More than a jewellery launch, the evening promises a rich confluence of music, art, and national pride. At its centrepiece will be the symbolic Ghana Gold Pendant — a meticulously crafted emblem of unity, identity, and heritage. Proudly made in Ghana, the pendant is designed to spotlight the nation’s artisanal excellence while serving as a cultural artefact that bridges tourism and tradition.

“This event – the launch of this heartfelt, proudly Ghanaian gold pendant – will, alongside other tourism-focused initiatives, highlight the enduring quality and vision of Ghanaian creativity,” said Victor Wellrich, Head of Marketing at Mentrax Refinery.

The invitation-only event will gather key figures from across Ghana’s tourism, creative arts, diplomatic, and business communities. Guests can expect an evening enriched by live performances, cultural displays, and a celebration of Ghana’s place on the global cultural map.

The initiative aligns with broader national strategies to position Ghana as a leading destination for cultural and heritage tourism. With the symbolic Independence Arch featured on promotional materials and a resonant theme underscoring Ghana’s gateway status in Africa, the launch is poised to mark a milestone in the country’s ongoing cultural renaissance.
