Dr. Gertrude Quashigah, National Coordinator GSFP
The National Coordinator of Ghana School Feeding Programme (GSFP) Mrs. Gertrude Quarshiga has been dismissed by Gender and Social Protection Minister, Sarah Adwoa Sarfo.
She has since been directed to hand over documents and property of the scheme to the Chief Director of the Ministry.
Ghana School Feeding Programme has been enmeshed scandals such as bloated enrollment, non-existing schools, under payment and wrong payment to Caterers. Both scandalous activities were exposed by The Hawk Newspaper.
‘This is to inform you of the termination of your appointment as National School Feeding Coordinator of the Ghana School Feeding Programme with immediate effect’.
‘You wil
l be paid one month’s salary in lieu of notice as stipulated in your contract agreement.’
Mrs Quarshigah replaced Dr Kwame Adu-Nsiah as acting National School feeding Coordinator until 2020 where she was confirmed as substantive after Kwame Adu-Nsiah was exonerated of fictitious deals and later laid off.
