Nii Noi Nortey, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Parliamentary Candidate hopeful for the Klottey Korle constituency, expressed solidarity with victims of a recent fire outbreak at Abuja CMB in the Central Business District of Accra. The devastating fire, which erupted on September 17, 2023, resulted in the destruction of numerous shops, valuable merchandise, and cash amounting to millions of Ghana cedis.

On Wednesday afternoon, Nii Noi Nortey visited the site to extend his heartfelt condolences and offer assistance to the affected traders. He generously donated mattresses, blankets, mosquito nets, bags of cement, and packets of roofing sheets to aid in the rebuilding process. In addition, he contributed bags of rice, bottles of cooking oil, food packs, beverages, sachets of drinking water, and a substantial cash amount of GH10,000 to alleviate the immediate needs of the victims.

In a brief statement during the presentation of the relief items, Nii Noi Nortey assured the traders of his unwavering support and promised to continue advocating for their welfare. He appealed to the central government, corporate entities, and philanthropic individuals to come forward and support the affected traders in their time of distress.
