In response to concerns stemming from the recent Electoral Commission press conference on the Voters Registration Exercise, some political parties have jointly requested an immediate Inter-Party Advisory Committee (IPAC) meeting.

The joint statement co-signed by  Jerry Owusu Appauh of the Liberal Party of Ghana (LPG), Citizen Ato Dadzie of the Great Consolidated Popular Party (GCPP), Nana Yaa Jantuah of the Convention People’s Party (CPP), Alhaji Mohammed Frimpong of the National Democratic Party (NDP), and Mordecai Thiombiano of the All-People’s Congress (APC) raised critical issues, from transparency to conflict management.

The proposed  August 29, 2023, for the IPAC meeting aimed to address their concerns and ensure electoral integrity.

The joint statement concludes with an appeal for cooperation from all parties involved and underscores the importance of a timely and comprehensive response from the Electoral Commission.
