The Drivers Unions in the country have scheduled a meeting to decide on the cost of transportation nationwide tomorrow Wednesday 05 of May, 2021.
Billed for the meeting on Wednesday to finalize the fares are the leadership of the Ghana Private Road Transport Union (GPRTU), True Drivers Union, Concerned Drivers Unions and Cooperative Transport Union.
Irrefutable information available to this paper says the Drivers Unions are going to the meeting to canvass reasons why they have to be allowed to slap the 40% increment on transport fares.
They are blaming the astronomical hike in fares to the insensitive and rampant adjustment of fuel prices.
