Paul Adom-Otchere, Board Chairman GACL
Paul Adom-Otchere is the new Board Chairman of Ghana Airport Company Limited (GACL) following his nomination for appointment by the Board of Directors of the Ghana Airport Company Limited by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo on Monday, August 30,2021.
The Good Evening Ghana Host’s hardwork and loyalty has been rewarded to replace Ms. Oboshie Sai Cofie, a former Deputy Information Minister, and a member of government communication management team.
The appointment of Mr. Adom-Otchere was made in a letter issued by Madam Akosua Frema Opare, Chief of Staff and addressed to sector Minister.
He also presented Mr Teye Adjrackor, Kwabena Mantey Jeckey Nyarko, and Philomena Sam to be considered as members of the seven-member board to represent the president’s interest. While the Managing Director, GACL Yaw Kwakwa and Grp. Cpt.Gervase serves the interest of workers of the company, Francis Kofi Nunoo represents the Ministry of Transport.
Until his promotional appointment, Paul served on the governing Board of National Communications Authority (NCA) that approved the seizure and closure of pro-opposition radio and television stations.
Paul obtained his Politics and Classics degree at the University of Ghana, and trained for his LLB from same University. He holds MSc in Development Economics from University of London.
He has worked with Metro Television as a Host of Good Evening Ghana.
