The event celebrated the achievements of 200 graduates who completed vocational training in sewing and hairdressing.
Kicking off at 10:00 AM, the ceremony drew a large crowd of community members, local leaders, and enthusiastic supporters who gathered to honour the new graduates. The atmosphere was filled with excitement as families and friends cheered on their loved ones, marking a significant milestone in their professional journeys.
As part of the celebration, Harriet announced, “We are providing 200 machines, including sewing machines, hair dryers, and makeup kits, to our graduates to help them kickstart their new lives.” This initiative aims to empower young entrepreneurs to kickstart their businesses, enhancing economic independence and generating local job opportunities.
“This ceremony is a celebration of hard work and resilience,” Harriet declared during her address to the attendees. She urged the gathering to choose the NPP over the NDC in the upcoming election, emphasizing that the NPP government has delivered significantly for the people of Nkoranza. Unlike the NDC, which claimed there was nothing left in the coffers, the NPP has reinstated allowances for Nursing and Teacher Trainees, implemented Free SHS, and introduced numerous other beneficial policies. “Let’s repay the NPP for their efforts by voting massively for Dr Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia and myself on December 7, 2024.”
