This prestigious accolade was unveiled on a remarkable Saturday in October 2023, courtesy of the Canadian International Chaplaincy Association, a prominent Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) holding special consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC), within the vibrant confines of New York City.
The unexpected and monumental appointment was unveiled during the 12th Edition of the Annual Mega 3G Awards and Celebrity Bash, an event that captured the spirit of celebration and recognition. The setting was the United Reformed Methodist Church, located at 2543 Marion Ave, Bronx, New York, and it was here that Dr. Ntiamoah-Mensah was humbly presented with this exceptional honor by Dr. Devon Bannister.
The official letter confirming this esteemed appointment, bearing the date of Saturday, 7th October 2023, was jointly signed by two distinguished personalities: The Right Rev. Dr. The Honorable Philip S. Phinn, OEA, D-C.P.C, President General of World of Life Ministries International (WOLMI), and Dr. the Honorable Sharon J. Baquedo-Phinn, OEA, O.P.C, Main Ambassador to the UN Headquarters, New York.
Word of Life Christian Fellowship, also known as Word of Life Ministries International (WOLMI), is the trailblazing Full Gospel Organization that holds the exclusive honor of being accredited by the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC). This accreditation endows WOLMI with the rare privilege of appointing Ambassadors to the United Nations and various Inter-governmental bodies.
WOLMI’s Executive Council has vested its President with the authority to appoint, promote, and accredit Kingdom Ambassadors in accordance with its constitution.
The appointment letter grants Dr. Ntiamoah-Mensah the esteemed right to use the title “Ambassador” preceding his name, with the addition of the distinguished letters “CDSE” following his name.
