Hon Clement Adu Gyamfi and Community leaders cuting the ribbon

The District Chief Executive (DCE) of Amansie South, Lawyer Clement Opoku-Gyamfi, fondly known as CID, has once again proved his commitment to the people by delivering on his promises. The DCE proudly commissioned a state-of-the-art three-bedroom Nurses’ Quarters and a brand-new CHPS Compound at Manso Taabosere, bringing much-needed relief to the community.

In a ceremony packed with local dignitaries and enthusiastic residents, the event was nothing short of a grand spectacle. Present at the historic commissioning were top brass from the district, including the Presiding Member of the Amansie South District Assembly, local NPP Chairman for Manso Adubia Constituency, members of the District Security Council, chiefs, and, of course, the good people of Manso Taabosere, who turned out in their numbers to witness the occasion.

The new health facilities come as a lifeline to the rural community, which has long struggled with inadequate healthcare services. The brand-new Nurses’ Quarters, funded by proceeds from the local stool lands, will house essential healthcare staff who will now be able to live and work comfortably in the heart of Taabosere. Meanwhile, the construction of the CHPS Compound—funded by Brightway Mining Enterprise—has been hailed as a game-changer for healthcare delivery in the region. Residents can now access much-needed medical services without the lengthy, dangerous journeys to distant clinics.

In a show of gratitude, DCE Clement Opoku-Gyamfi—aka CID—heaped praise on Mr. Bright Kwabena Obeng, CEO of Brightway Mining Enterprise, for his significant contributions to the project. “Mr. Obeng has left a lasting legacy for this community. His dedication to the people’s well-being will not be forgotten,” the DCE said.

True to his nickname “CID,” Lawyer Opoku-Gyamfi didn’t shy away from making bold promises for the future, reiterating his firm commitment to ensuring the Amansie South District continues to thrive under his leadership. “This is just the beginning,” CID declared, as the crowd cheered him on. “The government is fully committed to bringing even more development to Amansie South. Watch this space!”

As the ribbon was cut and the doors to the new facilities were thrown open, the people of Taabosere erupted in celebration. For them, this is not just another project—it’s a sign of hope for a better, healthier future.
The new facilities are expected to serve not only the people of Taabosere but also neighbouring communities, ensuring that thousands more can benefit from the improved healthcare services.

This latest development follows a series of projects spearheaded by CID, all aimed at improving the infrastructure and welfare of the people of Amansie South. From roads to schools, and now healthcare, the DCE is building a legacy of progress and prosperity.

With more developments promised on the horizon, the people of Amansie South are looking to the future with renewed hope.
