Ras Mubarak and Ex -Wife Portia

Former MP for Kumbungu, Ras Mubarak, has unleashed a fiery tirade on social media, clapping back at his ex-wife, Portia Rasheeda Adams, after receiving a scathing text message that left nothing to the imagination. In a no-holds-barred rant, Mubarak aired the dirty laundry of his tumultuous relationship with Adams, who had accused him of neglecting their children and failing to meet his financial obligations.

The drama kicked off when Adams blasted Mubarak in a venomous text message, calling him a “jobless, useless church rat” for allegedly paying only GH₵10k out of a GH₵63k school fee bill for their children. She accused him of pretending to be a responsible father while failing to provide for their kids, who attend the prestigious Roman Ridge School. Adams didn’t stop there—she went on to threaten Mubarak with legal action, saying she would change their children’s birth certificates and passports to remove his name if he didn’t pay up.

“You don’t have shame? Bill of 63k you went to pay only 10k, even that one in small small bits… Useless man! I’m going to make new birth certificates and passports for them bearing my name since you’re useless as a father. And you better not show your shameful face in that school to embarrass my kids!” she fumed in the text.

But Ras Mubarak wasn’t about to let the insults slide. He took to Facebook to set the record straight, slamming his ex-wife as a “scheming manipulator” who lives a “fake life” while parading herself as an influencer. According to Mubarak, Adams has changed homes and schools for their kids multiple times without his consent and yet expects him to foot the bills.

“The worst thing a man can do to himself is to have kids with the wrong woman,” Mubarak began in his blistering response. He accused Adams of being a fraud, claiming she lies about her success as a realtor, despite struggling to pay rent for her one-bedroom apartment.

“A liar who claims she’s sold millions of dollars worth of houses, yet lives in a one-bedroom rented apartment. And journalists keep giving her platforms to lie to the country,” Mubarak wrote, taking aim at both his ex-wife and the media.

The former broadcaster-turned-politician went on to list the schools their children have attended—Brainy Bairn, Dolly Memorial, Victoria Grammar—insisting he paid every cent of the school fees himself. However, he said he refused to cover admission fees for the latest school, which charges over GH₵20k per child because he wasn’t consulted on the decision.

“For someone with a notorious and ignoble record of changing kids’ school every year and three months, I won’t throw away my money,” Mubarak fired back, adding, “I don’t live a fake life.”

In a final blow, Mubarak reminded Adams of where she came from, claiming she had begged him to marry her when she became pregnant with their child. “With all your ‘mouth-mouth,’ you are currently driving an old rusty thing you call a car bought for you by a man who’s supposed to be your lawyer,” he said, mocking her lifestyle.

Mubarak ended his rant with a challenge to his ex-wife: “Go ahead and change my kids’ names and passports. What nonsense!”

The fiery back-and-forth has set social media ablaze, with fans and onlookers weighing in on the couple’s messy breakup. With Adams threatening legal action and Mubarak standing his ground, it seems this saga is far from over.
