Members of Amansie South District Assembly has confirmed the founder of GIMPA-TESCON, and a member of the NPP’s Communications team, Clement Adu Gyamfi (CID) as the District Chief Executive (DCE) of the Amansie South District, (AMSDA).

The Hawk News reports that the screening and confirmation was done during the Tuesday plenary session in Manso Adubia presided over by the Presiding Member, Hon Akuoko Kwarteng

In all, thirty-three out of a total of thirty-seven Assembly members voted yes to confirm the President’s nominee, without much rigor due to the contributions of the nominee to the development of the area and the government at one time or the other. Four members voted against the nominee.

Earlier, Hon Akuoko Kwarteng had read a letter from the President nominating Adu Gyamfi and requested the approval for confirmation of the nominee as their Chief Executive.

The Presiding Member described the nominee as fit and suitable for the task ahead while canvassing for his confirmation.

‘As far as Amansie South District is a concern, we are in alignment with the vision and aspirations of His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-addo and that of our party.  Hon. Adu Gyamfi disclosed in his address.

The newly confirmed District Chief Executive of Amansie South said will operate an open-door administration for all.

He replaces William Asante Bediako who seen defending ‘galamsey’ operations in a viral video.
