Former Greater Accra Youth Leader, Nana Owusu FORDJOUR, has swelled the rank of aspirants for the position of national Organizer of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP).
Owusu Fordjour is from the Greater Accra – Ashanti -Eastern geopolitical zones.
He said his interest was to ensure that the ruling party sustain its capacity to win elections and remain united as one political family.
Confirming the declaration, he said; ‘I have made myself available for members of the NPP. I have paid my dues as a member, and a former officer from polling station, constituency and region. I am offering myself again, this time, as a National Organizer. So, it is not a question of chance. If I am worthy, what I have done in the past is worthy of me being here to pilot the ship to take the party to greater heights and to successes, and to make the NPP Organizational chance better, so be it.’
Ford, in a notice to declare his interest, hinged his resolve on his personal conviction upon a wider consultation with stakeholders, couple with the pressure from political associates and friends, urging him to run for the NPP plumb job.
Titled; ‘Notification of my intention to contest for the office of the National Organizer of our great party, NPP’, Fordjour wrote; “after wide consultations and discussions with my family, friends and political associates, I have decided to heed the call to contest for the office of the National Organizer of our great party the NPP.
“With my wide experience as the Youth Leader of Greater Accra and the past Constituency Youth Organizer and Secretary of Klottey Korle, I believe that I have what it takes to run the affairs of the NPP as the National Organizer. I would want to continue with the great job done by those before me in re-organizing and making the party the greatest party in Ghana,” he said.
On his blueprint for the job, he declared: “If elected I will ensure that the values that birthed the party are preserved.
