Vice President of Vorskla Oleg Lysak and Najeeb Yakubu at the signing of a new agreement

Ukrainian side FC Vorskla Poltava has extended the contract of Ghanaian born defender, Najeeb Yakubu.

The highly-rated 20-years old player has committed his future to the club by penning a new deal.

Appearing in the Vorskla training camp two years ago, when he was only 18, the extremely talented Ghanaian defender Najeeb Yakubu, with his perseverance and extraordinary diligence, managed to become a full-fledged player of the main team of the “White-Greens”. From match to match, Najeeb received a “positive press” and recognition from capricious football experts.

Vorskla, a football club where, according to the messenger himself, he feels comfortable at home, has offered the player a new long-term contract. After a few days of reflection, Yakubu signed an employment contract for the next four years.

In total, the 2017 FIFA U17 World cup player has so far played 22 matches for Vorskla, in addition to assists and active actions, also scoring two goals.
