Kennedy O. Agyapong, flagbearer hopeful
Flagbearer hopeful of the New Patriotic Party Kennedy Ohene Agyapong has expressed his willingness to find the killers of former Justice lawmaker Joseph Boakye Danquah Adu and Ahmed Suale of Tiger Eye.
‘What I will do if I am elected, I will encourage the police and the security agencies to investigate the case to the bottom’.
‘I wanted to tell you that if I am elected today, whether the case is dead or not I will bring it back for us to find the murderers’. He declared.
In Kennedy’s mind, Anas Aremeyaw Anas have questions unanswered about the death of his accomplice.
He said he is suspicious of Anas because he did not show remorse or anything.
The Assin Central legislator who is being accused of killing Ahmed Suale said told Paul Adom Otchere on Good evening, Ghana that he was going to search for and find the killers of the former lawmaker and Suale.
Kennedy Agyapong has come under severe criticism for publishing the images of the former staffer of Anas Aremeyaw Anas’ Tiger Eye Pi on his television station and asking him to be beaten to death when seen.
The acerbic tongue-legislator would not accept the claim that Ahmed Suale was an undercover journalist.
‘You are a seasoned journalist. Don’t say Ahmed Suale was an undercover journalist. No! it means you don’t even have Anas’ video. Did you see Ahmed Suale’s face covered? Ahmed Suale was the one sitting by the fake Sheikh Ataane guy. I showed his photographs because most Ghanaians didn’t know him’. He rebutted quickly.
The man who rained insults on the office of the Inspector General of Police in the past, was heard telling Paul Adom Otchere the level of his trust in the capabilities of the security agencies.
He said; ‘I believe in the Police here. Competent Police. Of all these investigations that they’ve done, nothing pointed to Ken Agyapong’.
