John Boadu, former General Secretary of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), has secured a significant appointment as the Director General of the State Interests and Governance Authority (SIGA).

As stipulated under Section 17 (2) of the State Interests and Governance Authority Act, 2019 (Act 990), an official announcement has been made regarding the selection of a new Director-General for SIGA.

The President has nominated John Boadu, to serve as the Director-General of the Authority pending the receipt of required guidance from the governing Board of the Authority, in conjunction with the Public Services Commission.

Extending felicitations on the appointment, the President has advised the nominee to confirm acceptance or rejection of the role within a specified 14-day period from the date of receipt of the appointment letter.

This appointment marks a pivotal moment in the governance and operational functions of the State Interests and Governance Authority, in compliance with the statutory regulations outlined in Act 990.
