Nii Noi Nortey and the Chapter President, Isaac Yeboah

Aspiring parliamentary candidate for Klottey Korle on the ticket of governing New Patriotic Party (NPP)Valentino Nii Noi Nortey on Friday, 3rd February 2023 disburse cash for payment of school fees for ten students of University of Ghana, Accra City Campus.

Just as he also presented some five hundred branded Lacoste to support the chapter in its membership drive activities.

For him, the gesture was in response to the plight of some highly committed students brought to his attention by the Chapter President. He said it was meant to encourage the beneficiaries and their colleagues to work their hearts out for the New Patriotic Party.

The former Klottey Korle Constituency chairman said he is poised to invest in the future of the younger generation through education and other activities that will boost their morale in pursuing a worthy future.

Nii Noi thinks the New Patriotic Party can break the eight years cycle with one camp.

He said, only one camp must exist after presidential and parliamentary primaries.

‘If we dissolve all intra-party interest groups formed to advance the aspirations of party members immediately after the vote, and compel all aspirants to go back and bring everybody together.
Candidates on their own must lead the engagements at the grassroots level. Candidates must immediately take the initiative of reconciliation and re-unification before the party steps in.’
To Nii Noi, there is a need for people to respect the decisions and choices of others.
‘Everyone is entitled to choose life; good or bad without any impediment. And so, we don’t have to treat each other as prisoners of war just because of the choices we made. He said while sharing his thoughts on the theme of fostering togetherness and inclusiveness to break the 8.
He said, this way, the party can do away with issues of division and divided interests.

The event which was held at JCR of the University of Ghana Accra City Campus had in attendance the two Deputy National Youth Organizers, the Chapter Patron, the Youth Organizer of Klottey Korle, Greater Accra Regional TESCON Coordinator, Harry and Fred all aspiring candidates and others.

The Chapter President, Isaac Osei,  in his address, lauds the Nii Noi Nortey for supporting the Chapter, saying his gesture is appreciated and acknowledged.

Isaac Jay-Hde, on his part, charged the students to be more focused and disciplined ‘’; your future is in your hand and the only way you can have a better future is when you did not allow material things to overwhelm your dream.’;’

The Deputy National Youth Organizer admonished the students to work harder towards breaking the 8, to be towed along.

Mr Samuel Obeng, while commending the Nii Noi Nortey said Klottey Korle is fortunate to have a generous soul of his kind in this present day and pray for his success in his future endeavour.
