A local gin (pitoo) seller at Assin Edubease, in the Assin South District of the Central region, Joseph Naah, is currently facing trial in the Assin Fosu District Court, for having sexual affair with his two biological daughters as qualification and condition for paying their apprenticeship fee.
The police prosecutor, Inspector Gilbert Woyongo, told the court that, the two victims (name withheld), who are biological children of the accused person, Mr. Naah, are 17 and 15 years old respectively.
According to Mr. Woyongo, on January 22, 2019, the victims who traveled to Accra for greener pastures, returned home with a call on the father to pay their apprenticeship fees so they could start a new life after few months of hustling in Accra.
Mr. Joseph Naah, allegedly agreed to pay the apprenticeship fees of the children, on the condition that, he will have sexual affair with them as replacement of their mother, any time he feels to do so, and they complied
However, on the 14th February 2019, which was Valentine’s Day, at about 6:30pm, the accused person, struggled to have sex with the 17 years old daughter as usual, after she had taken a bath and was dressing in the mirror, but the move went bad and ended up biting a finger of the daughter in question during the struggle.
The victim in question finally confined in the woman (madam) who owns the shop where she is talking the apprenticeship.
Mr. Bismarck Kwame Sarfo, a farmer at Assin Edubease, reported the case to the Assin Fosu police for further investigation upon a tipoff, where the accused person was eventually arrested and sent to court.
The Assin Fosu District Court, presided over by his worship, Djane Quotey, has remanded the accused person, Mr. Naah, into police custody to reappear on 7the March 2019.
