• The Man Who Ordered The Military Invasion Of Parliament

For four long years after the infamous military invasion of Ghana’s Parliament on January 6, 2021, on the eve of the swearing-in of the 8th Parliament, the veil of secrecy has finally been lifted, revealing the man who sanctioned that ungodly act. The shocking revelation came to light during a heated debate in Parliament over the recent raid on the residence of fugitive Ken Ofori-Atta.

In a bombshell revelation, Yussif Sulemana, MP for Bole, squarely pointed fingers at former Defence Minister Dominic Nitiwul, accusing him of being the architect behind the chilling intrusion.

“I listened to the former Minister for Defence, Dominic Nitiwul, and I was sad. I followed you—the former Interior Minister, the former Lands and Natural Resources Minister, and Kan Dapaah. And I doff my cap for Kan Dapaah when he shouted, ‘Don’t let them enter! Don’t let them enter!’ But you, Nitiwul, insisted, shouting, ‘Let them enter! Let them enter!’ And they entered,” Sulemana charged.

Clearly feeling the heat, Nitiwul desperately tried to wriggle out of the accusation, abruptly interjecting: “He (Yussif) knows that where I come from, I am not a coward. And I cannot be a coward; otherwise, I cannot return home. I say he has no shred of evidence, and I want him to withdraw it because it’s a direct attack on my tribe, my family, myself, where I hail from, and putting the lives of people in danger.”
But the Bole MP stood his ground, making it clear he wasn’t speaking on impulse.

“Mr Speaker, I started by saying the former Defence Minister is my brother. Of course, I know where he comes from. I come from where he comes from. We are brothers and the same people. That’s why I was shocked that he was the one ushering in the soldiers to come and kill his own brothers,” he maintained.

The real bombshell, however, was yet to come! Sulemana, with absolute conviction, issued a daring challenge to Parliament: “Mr Speaker, the people are still in the system (GAF). We have their pictures. I am calling on you to order an investigation to get to the bottom of the matter. I am a Muslim, and the last thing I will do is lie against my brother. Mr Speaker, I want you to call for the videos since he wants me to bring evidence, and you will see him USHERING the military into the chamber!”

Ghanaians now have smoking guns. The once elusive mastermind of the military invasion has finally been unmasked! Will Parliament heed the call for a full-scale investigation, or will this revelation be swept under the carpet? The people demand answers, and justice must be served!

With Sulemana calling for a full investigation and demanding the release of video footage, the heat is now on Nitiwul. Will Parliament act on this explosive revelation? Will the former Defence Minister be held accountable for unleashing the military on Ghana’s democratic process?
One thing is clear—this story isn’t over, and The Hawk will be watching!
